 Today I made another atempt at an acrylic painting. I think It turned out better then last time. Incase you are wondering, the T-Shirt says El Pollo Diablo. I've been doing alot of El Pollo Diablo reacently. Below I have a picture of a clay statue I made of El Pollo Diablo. It also doubles as a piggybank - There I put in my 2 cents worth (It contains 2 pennys)
Anyways, Although unintentional, this painting apparently comes off as a little creepy, I think it must have something to do with the teeth, or the fact that she's almost cluchting her chest but not quite. Actualy originaly I was just going to paint her arm at her side, but I thought that was boring so I changed it, I just did this position on a whim- thats the position that I use when I'm trying to keep my hair out of the paint.
I realy think I did a good job with color this time, Its hard useing black in skin tones because it makes it very gray looking. It gives it a very styleized look though.
To me this painting is about being nervous in social situations, on the outside your comunicating and laughing and talking with everyone else, but your also praying your not comming off as a idiot, or annoying or stupid.

 Today I decided I would try My luck at painting, Its fun, and when I finished I thought to my self: Not bad. However I am currently Inclined to think its quite bad as comments ranged from "Your not a great painter yet but you will be if you keep at it" and "she looks sad". Now both of these are compleatly true statements and are very helpfull to me if not my ego, but I still think, was it realy that bad? I mean, I know I messed up the left eye and the face is demented, but it was my first real go at a painted portrat, and I didn't to any planning, I just started painting. I personaly think my use of color for the face is pretty good here.
Ether way, paintings fun. I love not having to draw hair. Did I mention how much I hate drawing hair in blue ballpoint pen? It makes the page curl for some reason and it never looks very good, because if your doing long hair all the lined have to be contour looking. However with acrylic hair is a BREEZE!
So there you have it, I think I will try painting more often to see if I can do better next time.
Hey, do you think it would look better if I gave her an eyepach on the left eye?

 Hello hello! I am sorry I Havent updated in so long! I Am happy to say "Sombodys Robert" is now complete, In fact it's been done for ages, I've actualy stared a more ambitious project called "Mousehole Manor".
The problem is, It takes a long time to scan all those pages, and upload them. The fact that my computer when bezerk and we had to wipe the hard drive so I lost all my files didn't help. Every time I think I will get around to it, I think "I could spend a hour scanning, or I could watch FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST!! (or SOUL EATER more recently)
But fear not! I hope to upload everything soon! Because if not, When I look at this site, I think Oh dear, I have improved so much! This site is a terrible example of what I am able to draw!

This last wednesday I attended my very first art card party! Basicaly A buch of artists get together to exchange playing card size art! These are the ones I drew, And I hope everyone liked them!

EDIT== Sombody Robert is up! Theres so much I dident write about robert, but oh well, the important bits are there, and hey, I even have subs so its easy to read! I'll do that for my other storys to, but not now.
Mouse hole manor prologe and capter 1 +2 are up. But its no where neer done. Some pictures are missing. I have alot left to write. I'm Finished chapter 3, but I havent even started to draw it yet. This will be a very long story, and the art takes longer to draw because its detaild.
But even though its not done, I wanted to show you what I have done so far
 Well, My new years resolution was not to draw more, But that's what I did. Over the past two weeks I've filled up over half of my sketchbook with January's drawings alone! The months not even over yet!
Lately I've been working on two series of comics. Its unbelievably fun, drawing all sorts of different poses and thinking up new ways to use up a page.....gluing pages together to hide drawings I don't like.... People always ask my "why?" when I do that, and then I feel guilty.
Anyways the first series I did was "The battle of the court jester series" which originated from a doodle on the back of my math homework, it's now the title page. I really didn't mean to draw so much, but I just kept getting ideas, and soon it was like, 21 pages long.
The other series I drew is called "siblings" and it got started when I drew the first two faces in computer sciences class (do I ever do school work?) When I drew the girl, I thought she would be saying something like "ya, what do you want" in a very obnoxious way. Then I decided that the boy and the girl were siblings who's parents were away for the week. The brother had cooked dinner, but the girl decided to eat cereal instead, because she was being what my dad would call a "grumpuss". After that things kind of took off and it became a comic.
Currently I am working on a sort of picture book that is entitled "Somebody's Robert" It will be about my imaginary friend Robert Hipinhopolopolis.
I hope anyone who reads this will like my series, and would appreciate any feedback. And please, don't just say I am a horrible speller. I know.

The-person-who-has-drawn-so-much-her-fingers-now-hurt.
 So, today I figured I would try drawing a crying person, just to see if I could. And this is the result apparently. The weird thing about sobbing people is they always look like their on the verge of laughing.
One thing I like to do with my drawings is write text around them. The only reaction I had to this one was "Don't be emo, kay?"
This picture was harder to draw for me for two reasons, first It was kind of depressing and second when I draw, I have a habit of matching the expression I'm drawing on my own face. Obviously I couldn't do that with this one. Of course I don't always mimic the expression (otherwise I would have done my last picture with my eyes closed).
All in all I'm happy with this picture, though I worry the shadings a little off and makes her face look like it needs to be washed.
 I have three new sketches and one new marker picture for you! (or maybe I'm talking to myself?)
Something about December makes everyone feel tired. Probably why they are always going on about the "Sleeping in heavenly peace". That's why this picture feels a lot more winter-ish to me then the other new one i did of the girl with the winter hat on.
I really had fun drawing this one, I've never drawn anyone sleeping before- oh snap! There is Robert Hipinhopolopolis in the last post! At any rate I've never done a close up of someone sleeping. I'm really proud of my last few sketches, I think I did a good job, though the more i draw the more I realize how inclined I am to draw round faces, perhaps because i have a roundish face myself? This girls face is REALLY round.

Ahh, summer, for me, this is a time to sleep in, read, play way to much videogames and if my mom has her way, get some exersize. lately I have been playing alot of pokemon platinum. It is a TON of fun, for you felow pokenerds out there heare is my party

Some times I day dream about what is pokemon were real? There is not much to day dream about because there is no way that would actualy work. As there would be no food, seeming as people dont apear to eat pokemon.
On a different note, Just finished Eoin Colfers novel, AIRMAN. It was quite good. If you want a good story of action, flying mashines, and jail break I highly recomend it. I finished it in 3 days, only stoping when I got a realy bad headache. If you liked Artimis Fowl you will like this. And by the way, is it just me or dose Eoin Colfer realy like writeing about boy geniuses?

Hey all, This is just updating about the latest stuff on my blog.
I'm writing a story for Latin class, though really its turning into more of a novel. Its posted under the storybook tab. I will continue to update it as I write more.
I've been told its a "griping good yarn" so I posted it here for all to read. Please excuse the massive use of derivatives and roman life facts, because it is a summitive. Also I would apreciate any and all coments!
